The Usual

I'm known around these parts as a bed hog. Whenever my humans sleep or take a nap, I'm right there with them.

Don't I look cute all nestled snugly under the covers? This picture exemplifies my end to a perfect day of napping in other places around the house. I always wrap up the day by sleeping cheek-to-cheek with my humans.

Life is good.

Weather: Summer is here!
The AC has been turned on a coupla times lately at my place.

Guess Who!

As you already know, I love to find new sunny places to sit. Lately, I've really been into the master bedroom window.

It's right above my human Mark's workspace, so if I sit here I can look down at him. The sunshine is a constant stream throughout the day, and I get very nice and toasty.

Weather: Not too hot, but warm enough.

My New Friend しっちゃん

This is my new friend しずる. My human's best friend Emi just got her.

Emi is my first girlfriend. I have lots of girlfriends, but she's the original, and my favorite. When she visits my house, she always gives me lots of attention.

Emi loves cats so much, maybe even more than my human Cindy does. When she lived in Japan (北海道)　I heard she had four cats at one time! Wow, she really loves cats.

Welcome home, Shizuru. I know that Emi will take excellent care of you. Maybe we can meet one day.

Weather: Not too hot yet.
That's good, summer can be a sweaty bummer.

Ready to Eat...NOW!

I know it's hard to see what I'm smelling. There are many cans of my dinner here waiting to be opened.

Please open one for me...NOW.
I'm hungry. Hurry.

Weather: This is the first morning it hasn't been cloudy when I woke up.
I guess this means it's gonna be hot today.

Chat Noir

Here is another French kitty. I don't know his (her?) name, but this cat looks pretty happy, just chillin'.

My human's friend Winnie sent me this pic from her travels earlier this month in Europe. Also, my human Cindy tells me that when she lived in Japan, she often frequented a chain of cafes there called "Chat Noir."

This cafe was often found in the bigger cities. Her favorite ones were: 早稲田店 (地下鉄駅からすぐ近い),　吉祥寺店 (小さかったけど...), & 表参道店　(中がとてもきれいで、お店の窓から道が見える). Oops, sorry! I forgot some of you can't read Japanese =^.^=

Weather: True June weather now;
cloudy in the morning & sunny in the afternoon.

Summer Study

My human Cindy starts school again tomorrow. No, she's not a student anymore, remember?
She graduated.

She's just a teacher now, but I'm sure she could even help this little kitty over there learn English.
He only knows how to say meow in Japanese: "ニャア "

Weather: Definitely the common June Gloom for this time of year.
I'm actually looking forward to seeing the sun one of these days.

Ferocious & Fierce

See my fangs poking out in that pic over there? I just went to the dentist last Friday to get them cleaned.

The kitty dentist is not very fun. I can't eat all morning, they put me out with some funny gas, and then when I wake up, I feel like I'm drunk. Oh well. At least that ordeal is over for another year.

Weather: Not too hot lately,
but hints of summer in the afternoons.

Un chat du France

My human's friend Winnie is traveling in Europe right now, and she came across this kitty while in Provence.

Don't you think we kinda look alike? He's a cousin of mine from Siam, er, Thailand. I'm a Burmese from Burma. We're both transplants in our respective countries, hoping to build international understanding.

Weather: It was stormy yesterday, thunder and all.
I wonder what today will bring?

My New Friend Choco

Everybody, meet Choco the tiny little bunny. One of my human's ex-students sent me this picture of her new pet.

Isn't Choco cute? He's brown like me! Good fashion sense. I hope Choco enjoys his (her?) new home. I know the student will take good care of this adorable little bundle of fur.

Weather: Sprinkly in the morning and clearing off in the afternoon.
