Hittin' the Gym

Just like my human Cindy, I've been trying to get more exercise since the new year started. I just finished doing crunches for my abs on this stability ball. Whew, I'm wiped out.

Weather: Really, it's winter?

This pic was sent to me from my Japanese girlfriend who is my human's dear, dear friend. She took care of me when my two humans visited Japan for one week last year. I love her.

Normally I don't pose for pictures, but my human caught me drenched in the sun and too lazy to move.

This is my favorite spot in the afternoon. In the mornings, I'm in the living room window. This is my human's study room chair I'm lounging on. Aaaahhhhhhh.

Go find yourself a nice window seat with the sun streaming in. Also, the exhaust is really bad for your complexion.

Gaming Geek

Not only do I like the XBox, but lately I've discovered the Wii.

I don't even need to play an actual game. I just like to try and grab the controller strap while my humans play.

I really want to play the DS, but I'm afraid I can't hold the stylus in my paws.

Weather: Clear and crisp, but with enough sun.

Back To School

Lately my human has been talking about something called "school." I think I remember when she goes here, she gets really busy.

I'll miss her when she's gone all day. Also, on the weekends, she's always messing around with books, pens, the computer. I'll do my best to help.

Weather: Not as warm as I'd like it.

Makin' Friends

My human is a teacher and has lots of cool students. One student from Fall 2008 really liked cats, too.

Here is her pet Snowy. I'd like to meet him one day. His owner says he has to move until she finds a new apartment where they accept cats.

I hope Snowy can find a good temporary home.

Weather: Still no rain, but clouds are definitely on the horizon.

Tech Head

The computer isn't the only kind of technology that I interact with. Here I am waiting my turn at the Xbox. I especially like fishing games.

Sometimes the controller is hard to hold and slips out of my hands, but I try my best. I think my human only plays one Xbox game, and that's backgammon online. How boring.

Weather: A little overcast. Maybe cooling down?

Boo!

Whenever my human Cindy puts away laundry, I make sure to check out her sock drawer.

It's quite comfortable, and affords me a bird's-eye view of the bedroom. Plus, I feel really sneaky!

Weather: I hope this warm spell keeps up.
Winter, what's that?

My Other Human

This is Mark. He also takes care of me. He's a little camera shy, but I'm lookin' pretty good, right?

He doesn't give me as much lap time as my human Cindy does, but I still love him a lot. He's always playing video games or messing around on the computer, so I try not to bother him too much.

Weather: I haven't done my usual window check yet,
but I think it's gonna be sunny again.

FEED ME FISH...NOW

Even though I just ate breakfast, I've got a hankering for more. Fish will do just fine. Any kind of fish. I don't care.
Raw, broiled, baked, sautéed, grilled, stuffed. Whatever.

Weather: In the low 80s again. Not a cloud in sight.

Talented

WOW. How in the world did this guy get a plant to sprout out of his stomach? Now that's talent. As for me, I just eat plants, not grow them.

My Human

My human Cindy is great. She lets me sit on her lap whenever I want, gets up at 3 a.m. to feed me, and teaches me how to improve my typing skills so I can do this blog.

Whenever she comes home, I run out to greet her. I miss sitting with her all day. I couldn't have asked for a better human to spend my time with.

Weather: The Santa Anas have kicked up lately,
and I'm glad to be inside so the wind doesn't mess up my 'do.

I'm Bored

Things have been a little slow here since the New Year started. Won't you come play with me? Be sure to bring one of those feather thingies you can see over there. Help me break out of my winter blues.

Drawn to Drawers

Lately my human has been in the kitchen a lot. She always leaves cupboards and drawers open. I always explore them.

I hear from my other human that her cooking is pretty good. He has a fish allergy, though, so he doesn't get to eat the really good stuff like I do.

Weather: Still too early to tell.

Neighborhood Nemesis

This is Stumpy. He lives next door. Sometimes he bothers me through the window.

Usually, though, he just hangs out in my backyard. I can't blame him because his humans also own a hulking Rottweiler.

Stumpy is pretty fat, but agile. I envy that he gets to climb trees, scale walls and talk to other neighborhood cats.

Weather: The cold front is passing, and it's gonna be
sun, sun, and more sun!

Bow Wow, Ruff Ruff

Although I can barely understand my humans no matter what language they speak to me, I'm still interested in exploring other modes of communication.

Have decided to enroll in my neighborhood language program for kitties. Wish me luck.

Just Chillin'

Finally recovered from my antics over the New Year. Taking time to get reacquainted with some of my buddies. They have just as imaginative names as the one I'm often called, "Kitty." The beagle's name is "Puppy" and the bulldog is "Doggy." Pretty easy to remember, right?

Weather: Hoping that yesterday's gray dissipates today.
I need some time in the sun.
