I still love it.

Just an update about my condominium: It's still great. I can now successfully navigate my way around all three floors, and I especially like the penthouse level where I get a bird's-eye view of my house.

Weather: Not typical for July. Been cool lately.

Peek-a-Boo!

My first girlfriend, Emi from Japan, got a new kitty a few months ago. I haven't met しっちゃん (Shicchan) yet, but she sure does look cute.

Emi said Shicchan has grown to a healthy five pounds lately. She's very active and likes to play with all of her toys. Here she is playing "peek-a-boo" with the camera.

Weather: Yesssss...it's too hot these days.
Yesterday, it was over 100 degrees in my neck of the woods.
Gonna stay in the shade for sure.

しっちゃん: Neighborhood Watch Kitty

A couple weeks ago, my human Cindy went to meet her best friend's new kitty, しっちゃん, for the first time. Shicchan was quite 元気, she's only about 5-6 months old.

Here she is protecting her owners from any harm.
I think she's doing great patrolling the window sills.

Weather: Lately been less hot than usual for this time of year.
It's definitely been a mild summer.

My Favorite Toys: Part 4

Despite the fact that I don't have any front claws, I still like to play with nail files.

When my human Cindy gives herself a manicure and saws the board back and forth across her nails, I come running at the scratchy sound.

I could play with nail files for hours. Sometimes I do. Not much else to do around here.

Weather: Balmy, sunny and a bit breezy.
The perfect way to usher in April.

My Favorite Toys: Part 1

These days, I'm really into all the toys my humans have bought for me.

This is one of my favorites. My humans wave it in my face, and the feathers tickle my whiskers. Also, it has a bell that makes a neat sound.

Sometimes, if this toy is just sitting on the floor, completely still, I attack it. My humans laugh at me because then I pick it up and walk around with it in my mouth.

Weather: Kinda weird lately. Is it gonna rain? Is it gonna be sunny? I'm confused.

I'm Baaaack

Thanks to all the doctors who helped me get back to my old self.

Here I am hoping that I can get some of what's in my human's lunchbox. He has a fish allergy, though, so whatever is in there can't be that good.

I'm very happy to feel 100%. I'm eating all my food, doing laps around the house, and talking a lot as usual.

Weather: It was actually pretty hot yesterday.
March is here now, what is this month gonna bring?

A Word About Koky

Remember my friend Snowy? Well, his owner has another cat in her home country. This is Koky. Isn't he cute? He lives in Saudi Arabia.

I know the picture is a little dark, but he looks very happy and healthy. He has orange hair, which I just love. So exotic compared to my own plain, brown fur. I hope Koky isn't too hot over there in S.A.

Weather: Again, calling for rain in the next few days. Waaaahhhh!

A Word About Sports

Why is football so popular in America? The only "football" that matters is SOCCER! I wish that sport was followed by more people here. I don't really like any sports...except fishing! My human goes fishing when she plays Animal Crossing on the Wii. I want to eat what she catches.

Weather: February is usually rainy around here, but no sign of that.

Hittin' the Gym

Just like my human Cindy, I've been trying to get more exercise since the new year started. I just finished doing crunches for my abs on this stability ball. Whew, I'm wiped out.

Weather: Really, it's winter?
Been so warm lately. Me likey.

Portrait

Normally I don't pose for pictures, but my human caught me drenched in the sun and too lazy to move.

This is my favorite spot in the afternoon. In the mornings, I'm in the living room window. This is my human's study room chair I'm lounging on. Aaaahhhhhhh.

Weather: Warm, but not too hot. Typical So Cal.

Gaming Geek

Not only do I like the XBox, but lately I've discovered the Wii.

I don't even need to play an actual game. I just like to try and grab the controller strap while my humans play.

I really want to play the DS, but I'm afraid I can't hold the stylus in my paws.

Weather: Clear and crisp, but with enough sun.

Tech Head

The computer isn't the only kind of technology that I interact with. Here I am waiting my turn at the Xbox. I especially like fishing games.

Sometimes the controller is hard to hold and slips out of my hands, but I try my best. I think my human only plays one Xbox game, and that's backgammon online. How boring.

Weather: A little overcast. Maybe cooling down?

My Human

My human Cindy is great. She lets me sit on her lap whenever I want, gets up at 3 a.m. to feed me, and teaches me how to improve my typing skills so I can do this blog.

Whenever she comes home, I run out to greet her. I miss sitting with her all day. I couldn't have asked for a better human to spend my time with.

Weather: The Santa Anas have kicked up lately,
and I'm glad to be inside so the wind doesn't mess up my 'do.

Time to Play

I don't want you all to think I'm a total do-nothing sloth. Yes, I cherish my time, a lot of my time, lazing around asleep in various designated spots.

But, I can play along with the most agile of kitties. Despite having no claws, I'll still try to grab anything you wave my way that remotely resembles a wet noodle.

I had a lotta fun a few months ago messing with these balloon strings when my Japanese girlfriend had her wedding shower at my human's house.

Weather: Been very chilly lately, but the sun is out.
It's all good.
